  1. Detailed description of goods and/or services Oom Polla se Winkel is a business in the educational and stationery industry that provides school requirements to learners.
  2. Delivery Policy Subject to receipt of payment, orders placed from October will be executed. An sms will be sent with the starting date to collect, or notification if courier option was selected.
  3. Export restriction (optional) The offering of this website is available to South African customers only (select self collection or courier option), plus Namibia (only self collection from our shop).
  4. Returns and Refunds policy In cases of unavailability of item(s) upon the execution of the order, the item will go on back order, and notification will be sent as soon as we receive it.  These back orders, which we specifically buy in for you, cannot be cancelled. Any other cancellation and / or exchanges of items ordered by the customer, will attract a 30% administration fee.
  5. Customer Privacy policy Oom Polla se Winkel shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of all customers. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).   6. Payment options accepted Payment may be made via Debit or Credit Card (Visa and/or Mastercard), Instant EFT (via SiD), EFT,EFT and SnapScan. Payment can also be made in the shop, soon after placing the order.  These payments all activate the order on our system.
  7. Card acquiring and security Card transactions will be acquired for Oom Polla se Winkel via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are an approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view the security certificate and security policy.
  8. Customer details separate from card details Customer details will be stored by Oom Polla se Winkel separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate's secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
  9. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currencyThe merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR)
  10. Responsibility Oom Polla se Winkel takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer services and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
  11. Country of domicile This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Oom Polla se Winkel chooses as it domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature 10 Santhagen Road, Stellenbosch.
  12. Variation Oom Polla se Winkel may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

Order Fulfilment Terms & Conditions
  1. Payment activates the order on our system. Orders are executed from November onwards.
  2. Oom Polla se Winkel will not be bound by omissions, errors or printing errors on this form.
  3. Prices are subject to change without notification. We will only resort to this in extreme circumstances.
  4. No exchange or return can be made on books with a red/black dot next to it.
  5. Should stock be exhausted upon execution of the order, a new book will be ordered. These back orders are firm and cannot be cancelled by you.
  6. No order can be executed without payment.
  7. If the payment reference number supplied to you is not used when making payment, it will cause a delay and possible non-execution of your order/s.
  8. If you have not received acknowledgement of receipt or your order within 5 working days, please contact us. It is your responsibility to make sure your order is received by Oom Polla se Winkel.
  9. Should there be an amount payable upon collection of your order, it has to be settled before the order can be released.
  10. All merchandise remains the property of Oom Polla se Winkel until fully paid. Please note that part of an order cannot be released.
